Bio

Ferran Torres joined Manchester City on a five-year deal from Valencia in the summer of 2020.

Blessed with great pace, the Spaniard is predominantly a right winger, but is comfortable on either flank where he can exploit his one versus one ability to beat the full-back.

A Valencia native, he progressed through their academy to make his debut in November 2017 as a substitute in a 4-1 win over Real Zaragoza in the Copa del Rey.

In November 2019, he became the youngest player in the club’s history to make 50 league appearances at the age of 19 years and 324 days, which broke a 40-year record.

He went on to play 97 games for Valencia, scoring nine goals and providing 12 assists and won the 2019 Copa Del Rey.

He has been capped by Spain at U17, U19 and U21 level, winning the European U17 Championships in 2017 and the European U19 Championships in 2019.

In the U19 final he scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Portugal and was subsequently named Player of the Tournament.

Torres made his City debut in the 3-1 win at Wolves in September 2020 and scored his first goal for the Club against Burnley in the Carabao Cup a few weeks later.
