Aguero has added a further two medals to his collection – the 2019 Community Shield and the 2020 Carabao Cup – but his most noticeable act this season came against Aston Villa on 12 January, when he scored a hat-trick in a 6-1 win.
It was the 12th time he had hit a treble in the Premier League – a record – which saw him become the highest scoring overseas player in the competition’s history.
